Biodesign is a non-dermis, non-cross–linked biologic graft technology that moves beyond:

beyond to completely remodeled tissue
beyond to a strong repair
beyond to alternative treatment options

DERMIS BASED

  • high elastin content
  • elastin can remain and stretch over time
  • stretch can result in recurrence

NON-DERMIS BASED

  • Biodesign only contains trace amounts of elastin
  • is remodeled without unwanted stretch

NON–CROSS-LINKED

  • Biodesign maintains sufficient strength throughout remodeling
  • is remodeled into strong, vascularized tissue

CROSS-LINKED

  • inhibits remodeling and ingrowth
  • is associated with encapsulation and chronic inflammation

NOTE: Any surgery has the potential for complications.
